Richard moved to Prince George in 1965, graduated from PGSS in 1971 and then moved to the lower mainland where he worked and lived until returning to Prince George in the early 80's. He began working for the Ministry of Forests in 1985 and in 1988 became Services Coordinator for the Forest Service's District office. Richard also volunteered as the President and Vice President of the Tabor Lake Clean-up Society, a volunteer group dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Tabor lake and it's surrounding watershed. He received a diploma's in both Business Administration and Management Studies from College of New Caledonia in 1991. Richard is also an active member of the Prince George Yellowhead Rotary Club as well as a member of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.

Richard enjoys power boating, snowmobiling, gardening, landscaping and cycling. Richard looks forward to providing dedicated and excellent service to his current and future clients.
