Kelvin Summerfeld moved to Prince George from Meadow Lake Saskatchewan in 1971. He graduated from PGSS in 1981. Kelvin worked for his father Don Summerfeld at Apollo propane from 1977-1986 delivering Bulk propane and working at the plant. During the summer months he worked for his Dad at Dons contracting building several houses and doing Gas fitting services.

He worked in the Automotive industry at a Ford and then a General Motors dealership from 1986-2003, then took a position at a John Deere dealership as a Product Support manager until 2009. He has a degree in Sales and Marketing from UBC 1995-1996, Bachelors degree in Business management UBC 1996-1998, Real Estate Licensing course UBC 2009.

Kelvin is happily married to Sandy since 1981 and has 2 grown children, he enjoys traveling, snowmobiling, atv's and hockey.
