Kirk Gable has been a licensed realtor since December of 2004 and joined the Doucette Realty team in January of 2005.

A resident of Prince George since 1965, Kirk has been involved in residential and commercial real estate since the mid 1970's primarily as a builder/developer but also as an owner/manager of several commercial projects. He taught Carpentry at the College of New Caledonia from 1983 to 1986 and served as the Director of Trades Programs from 1986 to 1992.

Kirk has also owned and managed several Prince George businesses, including a transportation service for the handicapped, a construction company, a neighborhood pub, a travel agency and a restaurant.

In the late 1990's Kirk served on the Downtown Revitalization Action Team and as a director of the Town Centre Business Association. In 1999 he was instrumental in forming the Downtown Business Improvement Association in which he is still actively involved as president. He also serves as a director of the Railway and Forestry Museum, a director and chair of the Operations Committee for the Performing Arts Centre Society and is a member of the Mayor's Task Force for a Better Downtown.

His passions include architecture, history, travel, photography, community development and urban design.
